SB 1620: This bill has been amended on March 25th to delete the limitation that temporary clinical nursing faculty be employed for not more than 4 semesters of 6 quarters. Additionally the bill excludes the percentage of hours of credit instruction taught by full time nursing faculty from the minimum standards. Review the original bill. Review the amended bill. Bill Folder 4.11.08 (word doc only) This is the status of the bills ANA\C is watching. The Anderson bill has been amended to include getting rid of the BRN and all health boards. ANA\C is concerned about this. ANA\C President Louise Timmer joined a member of our Laser Advisory group at the hearings on the Dermatology issue of limiting nursing practice for aesthetic procedures. President Timmer also testified in Senate Education on behalf of bills ANA\C is supporting.
