President-Monica Weisbrich, BSN, RN
The President of ANA\C serves as the official representative and spoke person in matters of association policy. The presidential activities of the association, at both state and national levels, are performed in collaboration with the Board of Directors and the Executive Director. My goals, as your president, are to oversee association committees as identified in the ANA\C bylaws, keep the board of directors updated regarding American Nurses Association activities and projects, and assure an on-going dialogue with ANA\C members.
Vice-President-Dianne Moore, PhD, CNM, MN, MPH, RN
The role of the Vice-President is to organize the General Assembly and work with the President and Executive Director on matters related to the professional organization. The Vice-President stands in for the president in the event the president is unable to fulfill the duties of the office.
Dianne is an educator, administrator and an APRN as a nurse midwife. She earned
her PhD from NYU in NYC, her MPH from Columbia University, her MN from UCLA and her BSN from Hunter College in NYC. In addition she has a certificate in midwifery from Brooklyn Downstate Medical Center in NYC, an Online Education Certificate from Indiana University and a Certificate in Interior Design from IDI in Newport Beach. Dr. Moore was named on of the 60 distinguished Alumni from UCLA and has received numerous other awards in teaching and practice. She is currently Director of Nursing at Pasadena City College.
Secretary-Alice Benjamin, MSN, RN, ACNS-BC, PCCN-CMC
The Secretary's role is to ensure that records are maintained and appropriately distributed for the meeting of the General Assembly and the Board of Directors; coordinate the policies and procedures for maintaining the archives for the association and appoint individuals or task forces as deemed necessary to maintain archives and establish and chair a committee for conflict resolution if needed if the Vice President is unable to fulfill that role.
Alice is a nationally board certified Cardiac Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has over 15 years experience as a nurse and is a community health activist and involved member of several professional health and community organizations. She graduated from San Diego State University with honors and dual Bachelor degrees in Nursing and Psychology. She also received a Masters degree in Nursing Education & Clinical Nurse Specialist from Point Loma Nazarene University.
Treasurer-Donna Dolinar, BSN, MPA, RN
The ANA\C Treasurer 1) supervises the fiscal affairs of the association, 2) appoints and chairs a task force annually; to develop a proposal for the association budget, 3) makes recommendations annually to the Board of Directors of members to be considered for appointment to the Finance Review Committee, and 4) provides reports and interpretations of the financial condition of ANA\C to the membership, General Assembly and the Board of Directors.
