The ANA\C Legislation Information Page

ANA\C, through the efforts of the Legislative Committee, monitors all bills and regulatory changes on the behalf of ANA\C members. Several pages provide different information about the legislative activity. The Alerts Page is for those urgent or emergent matters that need immediate attention. The Bill Folder Page is where the list of bills being discussed in the current legislative session can be reviewed. The bill folder is usually posted on a weekly basis during a legislative session.

ANA\C encourages every nurse to learn how to decipher what is happening in the legislative arena. ANA\C offers educational classes on understanding the legislative and regulatory process during the very popular RN Days Program offered once a year. This hands on very participative program takes place right in Sacramento and you can learn how it all works. Visit this site often for details about the next year's RN Days and information will be posted here as well as on the Calendar page.
