ANA\C Education Director: Mary Ann McCarthy, EdD, CNS/NE, RN, PHN 

 

Mary Ann has a long history of nursing experience in hospitals, home health, wellness, school nursing, and higher education. She has practiced in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, New York, and California. Mary Ann graduated with a baccalaureate degree in nursing from Mount St. Joseph College in Cincinnati, Ohio. At California State University, Fresno she completed her School Health Credential, Special Teaching Authorization in Health (STAH), masters’ degree in nursing as a clinical nurse specialist/nurse educator (MSN, CNS/NE), and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. Currently, Mary Ann is the Director of the Traditional Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing program at Mount St. Mary’s University, Los Angeles. Her interests include teambuilding, mentoring, student success, and transformational leadership.
