Despite being the most trusted profession, nurses’ insights are often overlooked in media, missing critical opportunities to educate communities, inform policymakers, and shape healthcare practices.

This report explores the barriers to nurses’ visibility and offers recommendations to amplify their perspectives in media

  • Media Policy Review: Analyzes a compiled sample media policy from health institutions across California.

  • Recommendations: Offers actionable strategies for nurses, communication, and public relations departments.
