About the Event

***QUALIFY to be included in PROJECT DATA.***

Details below.

Nurses are consistently absent in the rooms where policymaking discussions are being held. Yet, the Future of Nursing Report 2020-2030 not only provides recommendations for where nurses can enter policymaking discussions but also specifically calls to nurses' unique attributes that make them especially equipped to advance these issues.

For this four-part series, we're looking for registered nurses to pilot a new discussion-style forum in a DNP Candidate's attempt to increase nurses' participation in legislative policymaking. Nurses in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions directly from nursing experts who have a combined 75+ years of health and nursing policy advocacy experience.

  • No minimum experience is required.
  • Must be a member of a professional nursing association in California.
  • Must attend all four event dates to be included in project data.
