About the Event
Artificial intelligence is increasingly shaping how nurses document and chart patient care. From ambient listening to auto-generated notes, these tools are changing clinical workflows in real time.
Join ANA\California’s Advocacy Institute Fellows as they share early insights from our AI + Documentation & Charting work and facilitate an interactive listening session. This is an opportunity to share your experiences with AI-assisted documentation, including what is working, what is challenging, and how it is impacting your workflow.
Fellows will guide the discussion and invite participants to speak to their organization’s practices, training, safeguards, and oversight. Your input will directly inform policy recommendations focused on improving documentation quality, supporting safe and effective AI use, and reducing burden on nurses.
If you are interested in artificial intelligence, documentation, or clinical workflows, this session will provide new perspectives and ideas to support policy and practice change.
Why It Matters
Documentation is a core part of nursing practice. As AI tools are introduced, it is critical to ensure they improve accuracy, reduce burden, and support safe patient care.
Who Should Attend
Nurses, nurse leaders, informatics professionals, educators, and anyone involved in documentation, charting, or clinical workflows.
Open to all.
