The American Nurses Association\California (ANA\C) is issuing an urgent call to action following Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s decision to remove leading scientific experts from the CDC vaccine advisory panel. This reckless move is not only a direct assault on evidence-based practice—it is a threat to the health and safety of every American.
In a time when misinformation continues to spread faster than truth, eliminating the very experts who guide safe, effective vaccination policy is both irresponsible and dangerous.
Vaccination policy must be rooted in scientific evidence, not political agendas. Gutting the CDC’s expert panels strips away the layers of rigorous peer review, clinical data, and decades of public health expertise that guide life-saving decisions. It endangers public trust at a moment when trust is critical.
ANA\California calls on all leaders—across parties and professions—to denounce this move and reaffirm a national commitment to evidence-based, expert-driven healthcare policy.
Science must lead. Lives depend on it.
