Political Action Day at the Capitol 2026

ANA\California and the California Nursing Students Association (CNSA) partnered to deliver our second combined event: RN Day at the Capitol and Pre-Licensure Lobby Day.

In this recorded program, ANA\California and CNSA leaders break down the legislation, regulations, and policies shaping nursing in California. You will hear why coalition partners matter in moving bills and protecting patients, and you will get practical guidance on how nursing students and nurses can engage in advocacy and the legislative process.

This event also includes an update from ANA\California’s Advocacy Institute, including the announcement of our Nursing Regulations Guide, a practical resource to help nurses understand how regulations work and how to participate in the process.
